UAE/UK duo form subsea partnership

A joint venture company has been established to provide a range of off- and onshore and offshore construction services to subsea cable operators in the Middle East.

BRISTOL, UK – A joint venture company has been established to provide a range of off- and onshore and offshore construction services to subsea cable operators in the Middle East.

The partners are Abu Dhabi-based Controls and Applications Emirates (CAE) and the UK’s Offshore Marine Management (OMM).

The joint venture, named CAOMM, plans to work with companies in the region’s oil and gas sector, utilities, and telecoms industries. It has opened an office in Abu Dhabi headed by Rob Warner as general manager. An operational base should follow later.
