Total commissions Anguille to Torpille pipelay

SLEEUWIJK, the Netherlands – Total Gabon has contracted Sea Trucks to install a 32-km (19.9-mi) gas pipeline between the Anguille and Torpille fields offshore Gabon.

The project includes engineering, procurement, and installation of the 18-in. (45.7-cm) concrete coated pipeline and associated hardware, diving work, fabrication and installation of spools, and topside modification.

This will be Sea Trucks’ first pipelay project for Total in this part of West Africa. The work will be performed in 2Q 2012, likely using the DP3 vessel Jascon 34.
