HOUSTON – Dril-Quip Asia Pacific PTC Ltd. has won a $39-million contract from Murphy Sabah Oil Co. to supply drilling and production equipment for the Kikeh dry-tree spar offshore Malaysia in 1,330 m (4,364 ft).
Dril-Quip will provide a drilling riser, top tensioned production risers, tensioners, tieback connectors, specialty joints, surface wellheads, and production trees. Delivery is scheduled to begin in 2012.
