Dockwise nets rig transport orders

BREDA, the Netherlands – Dockwise has won transportation contracts with a combined value of $42 million, all for execution in the next three months.

The consignments include jackup rigs to Gabon, Mexico and Trinidad, a semisubmersible to Vietnam, and three contracts for delivery of multiple barges and tugs to Brazil and Colombia.

Dockwise also confirms a firm $26.7-million contract for Chevron’s Gorgon project off Western Australia. The program, starting early in 2012, involves transporting LNG modules to Barrow Island, using the Mighty Servant III.
