    COSCO agrees to two Sevan 650 rig deliveries

    COSCO (Qidong) Offshore Co. Ltd. has formalized its agreement with Sevan Drilling Rig V Pte Ltd. and Sevan Drilling Rig VI Pte Ltd to complete two turnkey engineering, procurement and construction plus installation for delivery of two Sevan 650 design drilling rigs.

    SINGAPORE – COSCO (Qidong) Offshore Co. Ltd. has formalized its agreement with Sevan Drilling Rig V Pte Ltd. and Sevan Drilling Rig VI Pte Ltd to complete two turnkey engineering, procurement and construction plus installation for delivery of two Sevan 650 design drilling rigs. The contract price is $525 million for each rig.

    Delivery of the first rig is scheduled for 4Q 2013 and the second is 2Q 2014.
