Caspian subsea partnership formed

Diving/subsea contractor Dalgidj has formed a strategic alliance with Hallin Marine to offer subsea services to oil and gas projects in the Caspian region.

BAKU, Azerbaijan – Diving/subsea contractor Dalgidj has formed a strategic alliance with Hallin Marine to offer subsea services to oil and gas projects in the Caspian region.

The duo has worked together for years providing subsea support, including ROV and diving services off Azerbaijan to BP Caspian.

They plan to expand their capability in the region to include saturation diving services, surveys, and project management. Hallin’s Engineering Division will provide engineering services, led by engineering solutions provider Prospect.

Ilgar Sadigov, Dalgidj’s managing director, said: “The alliance can now meet the increasing demands of the local market through access to a greater pool of resources and the latest technologies.”

Dalgidj provides air diving, underwater services (including underwater welding and cutting operations) in water depths up to 50 m (164 ft), ROVS for operation in water depths up to 1,000 m (3,281 ft), and ship repair services in the Caspian Sea.
