Technip wins Brazil scoping study contract

PARIS -- Statoil Brasil Óleo & Gàs has awarded Technip a three-year frame agreement for offshore engineering studies.

This covers feasibility, concept, and front-end engineering design studies for Statoil’s producing fields offshore Brazil and its future developments in the sector.

Technip’s operating center in Rio de Janeiro will manage the program, supported by the company’s European centers.

Previously, Technip has performed similar feasibility, conceptual and FEED projects for Petrobras, OGX, OSX, and Maersk.
