Rig transport boost for Dockwise

Dockwise Shipping has picked up six new contracts for heavy marine transport with a combined value of over $34 million.

BREDA, The Netherlands -- Dockwise Shipping has picked up six new contracts for heavy marine transport with a combined value of over $34 million.

The company will transport theWest Linus jackup for Seadrill subsidiary North Atlantic Norway at the beginning of Q4 2013 from Singapore to Stavanger.

Another contract is from FGUP Artikmorneftegazrazvedka to transport the jackupKolskaya this summer from Murmansk to Magadan, eastern Russia via the Cape of Good Hope.

Early next year, Dockwise will transport theSevan Brasil from its new built yard in China to Brazil for client Sevan Drilling.

Other contract awards include the transport of four lift boats from Freeport, USA to Luba, and of theKantan VI jackup from Singapore to Shanghai this summer.
