HOUSTON – Nexen Petroleum UK Ltd. has signed a $150-million contract for CB&I to do the detailed engineering on two fixed platforms for the Golden Eagle field in the North Sea.
CB&I’s scope of work includes detailed engineering design of the topsides of a wellhead platform and a production utilities and quarters platform. CB&I recently completed the FEED work and expects to complete the detailed design by the end of 2012.
