Hibernia taps Technip for subsea work offshore Canada

PARIS – Hibernia Management and Development Co. Ltd. has awarded Technip a contract for work on the Hibernia Southern Extension project. The contract covers engineering, procurement, and construction of a flexible flowline and steel tube umbilical plus installation of all the subsea equipment.

Hibernia is on the Grand Banks about 315 km (196 mi) off Newfoundland and Labrador in 90 m (295 ft) of water.
