LONDON -- EnQuest expects to average 26,500 boe/d from its UK North Sea fields, 26% above the level for 2010.

Well A56/13 was drilled from the Thistle platform, reaching total depth in early April. It should enter production by mid-year.

The Don Southwest production well S8 was completed in mid-April in Area 6. Sand quality was better than prognosed. S8 will be tied in to the subsea system and be brought into production after the rig leaves Don Southwest this summer – currently, the rig is completing the Area 6 injection well S9.

The Area E exploration well at Don Southwest was successful, and has since been renamed the Conrie field. It is scheduled to come onstream during the fall.

Recently, EnQuest agreed to acquire operatorship of the Crawford and Porter field developments, and the company is also working on possible sanction for the Ardmore field development later this year.
