HOUSTON-- Israel’s Ministry of National Infrastructure has approved ATP’s request to operate three deepwater licenses in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.

In February, ATP entered into agreements to acquire interests in five deepwater permits in the Israel sector. Last month, the Ministry approved the transfer of three of these permits, giving ATP operating interests in the Daniel East, Daniel West, and Shimshon concessions.

Approval for the remaining two licenses should come through by mid-year. ATP will operate all five licenses, with working interests ranging from 40-50%.
