Schlumberger has been recognized by the OTC Spotlight Award committee for its SonicScope multipole sonic-while-drilling service. A new logging-while-drilling (LWD) service, SonicScope provides multipole measurements to consistently and reliably deliver compressional and shear data in all environments. Schlumberger says its SonicScope is the only service in the industry with a dedicated mode for acquiring Stoneley waveforms while drilling.
