HOUSTON – Kittiwake plans to introduce its RIGmonitor at OTC 2011. RIGmonitor combines local, on-line sensors with central overview and control, says Kittiwake. Remote access, emailed alarms, and secure data trending complete the rig asset condition monitoring package.
The lubricant and machinery condition information provided by RIGmonitor can help make informed decisions regarding asset operation, lubricant changes, and service intervals. RIGmonitor sensor units can tie-in operation parameters (for correlation with condition information) and even inputs from other, existing condition monitoring systems.
