OSLO, Norway -- Aker Solutions is to supply complete drilling equipment packages for two new deepwater drillships under construction in South Korea.
Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering awarded the contracts, which have a total value of around $230 million, with options for additional equipment and services.
Aker Solutions will be responsible for engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning of the equipment, most of which will be delivered in 2012.
