CGGVeritas supports Syrian bid round with seismic datasets

LONDON – CGGVeritas is offering geophysical and geological datasets in support of the International Offshore Bid Round 2011 by the Syrian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the General Petroleum Corp.

The center of the project is 5,000 km (3,106 mi) of long-offset multi-client 2D seismic data acquired in 2005 in waters depths of 500 to 1,700 m (1,640 to 5,577 ft). CGGVeritas also offers an interpretation package, gravity data, seep data, and a reprocessed seismic dataset.

The bid round opened on March 24.
