BIS awarded UK maintenance jobs

BIS Salamis has won contracts worth a total of $290 million for maintenance programs in the UK North Sea.

MUNICH, Germany -- BIS Salamis has won contracts worth a total of $290 million for maintenance programs in the UK North Sea.

Services to be provided include scaffolding access and rope access, coating, insulation, specialist cleaning, asbestos work, and passive fire protection.

BIS Salamis operatives will be deployed at the Bacton Gas Terminal on the English east coast; at platforms on the Leman, Sole Pit, Barque, and Galleon fields in the southern gas basin and on CNR’s Ninian, Murchison, and Tiffany fields in the northern North Sea.
