Baker Hughes drilling technology recognized

Baker Hughes’ Kymera hybrid drilling technology has won an OTC Spotlight Award. The company says that the new technology offers the fusion of roller-cone and PDC bits. Reducing costs with the cutting superiority and continuous scraping of diamond bits and roller-cone strength, the bit offers a lower and more consistent drilling torque, better dynamics and directional control, improved durability and reliability, and less torsional vibration.
