HOUSTON –Seismic Micro-Technology is previewing KINGDOM 8.7 at the American Association of Petroleum Geologists Annual Convention and Exhibition.

Scheduled for release this summer, the new version of the KINGDOM software targets improvements in field development planning, and operations. Among the new capabilities are real-time geosteering, microseismic interpretation, and well planning.

SMT says well path planning is key to maximum reservoir contact and its Well Path Planner supports wellbore design and calculations of inclinations, azimuths, and offsets. The system can pick targets in 2D and 3D in both time and depth domains.
