    Polarcus booked for Ireland 3D surveys

    Lansdowne Oil & Gas has confirmed a contract award to Polarcus for acquisition of 3D seismic over the Rosscarbery, Amergin, and Middleton prospects in the North Celtic Sea, offshore Ireland.

    DUBLIN, Ireland -- Lansdowne Oil & Gas has confirmed a contract award to Polarcus for acquisition of 3D seismic over the Rosscarbery, Amergin, and Middleton prospects in the North Celtic Sea, offshore Ireland.

    The program will cover a total area of around 300 sq km (116 sq mi).

    Work should start in early July, following another 3D survey by Polarcus over the Barryroe oil field in which Lansdowne has a 20% interest.
