DUBAI, UAE -- John Crane Middle East FZE has launched a new Turbomachinery Group to provide improved support to its clients throughout the region. It will speed up access to the company’s expertise in all types of turbomachinery applications.

The overall aim is to quicken response to service, failure investigation, and technical issues by means of site surveys, seal system reviews, and product health checks.

The new group also will manage turnkey seal retrofit projects, from review of the existing system through to final connections, tie-ins, and ongoing support for the new installation.

John Crane plans to build one of the world’s largest dry gas seal test rigs and a customer viewing suite alongside the company’s existing facility in Dubai. And it will provide an emergency repair service for dry gas seal repairs.

Recently the company opened an expanded headquarters, manufacturing and service center (equipped with dry gas seal facilities) in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and a first-point dry gas seal strip and inspection capability at its newly expanded service center in Qatar.
