SLEEUWIJK, the Netherlands -- Hess has contracted Sea Trucks Group to install a produced water handling module on the Sendje Ceiba FPSO offshore Equatorial Guinea.

The M12 unit will weigh around 300 tons (272 metric tons). Hess also is installing four living quarter modules.

Sea Trucks expects to handle this program during 2Q 2011 using its Jascon 25 DP-3 offshore construction vessel. The work should take around 15 days including mobilization and demobilization.

This is the company’s first job off Equatorial Guinea and its second for Hess (the first was an accommodation support contract off Malaysia in 2007).
