ROTTERDAM, the Netherlands – Hertel OTC has won a $1.3-million contract to perform fireproofing activities at Saudi Armco’s Karan gas processing facilities project.
The program, awarded by Hyundai Engineering and Construction, includes 7,100 sq. m. (8,492 sq. yd.) of equipment and 11,000 sq. m. (13,256 sq. yd.) of pipe supports and steel structures. It will be carried out during construction of the $1.3-billion gas processing trains for the Karan gas field offshore Saudi Arabia.
