Guendalina on target for September start-up

ROME -- Development of the Guendalina gas field offshore eastern Italy is on schedule with first gas expected in September, according to partner Mediterranean Oil & Gas,

Eni operates the project, in the AC 35 AG concession in the Adriatic Sea.

Construction of the jacket is complete, and installation should be completed during the next fortnight, subject to sea and weather conditions.

Work on the deck is also on schedule, with installation set to start immediately following completion of development drilling.

The two-well campaign for two wells should start in late March.
