Grenland Group wins subsea commissions

Grenland Group has a Letter of Intent to manufacture and deliver one eight-slot manifold and one foundation base structure to FMC Technologies.

SANDEFJORD, Norway -- Grenland Group has a Letter of Intent to manufacture and deliver one eight-slot manifold and one foundation base structure to FMC Technologies. The total weight of these structures will be about 1,075 tons (975 metric tons).

Work will be performed mainly in Tønsberg. The contract value to Grenland Group will be around NOK 140 million ($24.5 million). Deliveries should start this spring, continuing into early 2012.

Grenland Group has two further Letters of Intent to support FMC’s recent awards from Statoil for fasttrack projects in the Norwegian North Sea. These cover supply of two integrated template structures and two manifolds, with a total weight of around 700 tons (635 metric tons).

These structures will again be assembled mainly in Tønsberg, under a contract worth around NOK 80 million ($18 million) to Grenland Group. Deliveries should start this summer.
