MARLOW, UK -- Micoperi has contracted FoundOcean for grouting services at ENI’s Guendalina field development offshore eastern Italy.
FoundOcean will grout the annuli between the jacket sleeves and piles supporting the Guendalina platform installed in the North Adriatic Sea. Grouting should start this month or in March. Equipment for this operation will be mobilized from Ortona, Italy, and personnel from Ravenna.
The jacket is a monopod with three foundation piles, which will be installed in a water depth of 42 m (138 ft).
