CGGVeritas signs Russia, Indonesia cooperation agreements

PARIS – CGGVeritas reports signing two joint-venture agreements.

One is with JSC Geotech Holding to operate 2D and 3D marine seismic vessels in Russian and CIS waters. The JV will provide data acquisition and processing services, and CGGVeritas will make one 2D ice class and one 3D ice class vessels available to the venture.

Secondly, CGGVeritas has joined a joint venture with PT Elnusa Tbk to do 2D and 3D marine seismic surveys in the Asia/Pacific region, primarily Indonesia.
