PARIS – Technip will expand its flexible pipe manufacturing capacity in Brazil to add volume and high-end products. Flexible pipe demand for infield flowlines and risers is growing, according to Technip, and the pre-salt developments will require still more capacity.
Work on the Angra dos Reis site is scheduled to begin this year on the €30 million ($41 million) facility.
