Offshore staff

LONDON -- The third development well has been completed on the Te Giac Trang development offshore Vietnam.

According to partner SOCO International, log analysis of the TGT-H1-3P well, drilled to the northwest of the field, suggests it encountered the top of the target reservoir horizon, based on the reprocessed pre-stack depth migrated seismic.

Four further development wells are being batch drilled and the reservoir section in all four cases wells will be drilled mid-January.

All the wells are being suspended and will become producers following start-up in mid-2011. Production during the first phase should reach 55,000 b/d of oil.
