SANDNES, Norway – Technip Norway has contracted Aker Subsea for tie-ins and connections for the Goliat flowlines and risers in the Barents Sea. The contract value is around NOK 65 million.

Aker’s scope includes the outboard remote tie-in system termination heads and associated equipment. These will be used to tie in the flowlines, pipelines and flexible jumpers to the manifolds, flowline t-junctions (ILTs) and riser bases on the Goliat field, operated by ENI Norge.

Last year ENI awarded Aker Solutions the subsea production system for the same project, and earlier this year the group also won the direct electrical heating contract, again under Technip's flowlines and risers contract.
Most of the equipment for the new order will be manufactured, with final delivery slated for Q2 2013.
