WorleyParsons wins Jasmine design contract

ConocoPhillips has contracted WorleyParsons for detailed design and procurement services for the high-pressure/high-temperature Jasmine Area Development project in the UK central North Sea.

LONDON – ConocoPhillips has contracted WorleyParsons for detailed design and procurement services for the high-pressure/high-temperature Jasmine Area Development project in the UK central North Sea.
WorleyParsons was involved in the project’s earlier concept and feasibility phases.

The new award covers detailed engineering for three new platforms, interconnecting bridges, pipe-in-pipe risers and spools, and functional design and specification for the subsea pipeline, subsea isolation valves, power/communications cable, and umbilical.

First production from Jasmine Phase 1 is slated for late 2012, with production expected to peak at over 88,000 boe/d.

WorleyParsons is managing its program from its offices in London, Woking, Kuala Lumpur. and Beijing.
