    Seafox 1 heading to West Sole

    Centrica Resources has hired Seafox Contractors’ accommodation and service jackup Seafox 1 for a four-five month contract in the UK North Sea.

    HOOFDORP, the NETHERLANDS -- Centrica Resources has hired Seafox Contractors’ accommodation and service jackup Seafox 1for a four-five month contract in the UK North Sea.

    The rig will mobilized to the new location (the West Sole Alpha platform) upon completion of its current assignment for Shell UK, probably early in February.

    “We are very pleased that Centrica Resources, in conjunction with BP, has chosen for Seafox 1 to execute their works on the West Sole Alpha platform and we will demonstrate to them that using a dedicated service jackup to undertake this type of project is a real efficient and safe way to optimize and utilize the required man-hours offshore” said Keesjan Cordia, managing director of Seafox Contractors.
