ABERDEEN, UK – Hallin Marine Subsea International Ltd.’s West Division has taken delivery of the Ullswater vessel and has won its first saturation diving contact. This marks Hallin West’s entry into the saturation diving business.

The Ullswater, a built-for-purpose vessel with a built-in saturation diving system, is working for Acergy offshore Angola on a three-month contract to work for Angola Liquefied Natural Gas pipeline and Total E&P Block 17.

“Having a specialist, purpose designed, new vessel like the Ullswater with its outstanding saturation diving system and capabilities, was the next logical step for West Division,” said Mike Arnold, managing director. “The vessel’s combination of saturation diving, air diving and ROV systems, and advanced lifting capacity means we expect it to be ideal for the work that is currently being bid in West Africa.”
