Rosneft expands Black Sea seismic survey

DUBAI, UAE – Rosneft has sent a letter of intent to the Polarcus/USC Dalmorneftegeophysica partnership to expand a 3D seismic survey in the Russian sector of the Black Sea.

The original agreement covered 1,030 sq km (398 sq mi) while the new contract expands the total area to 2,069 sq km (799 sq mi). The Polarcus Asima is to begin the survey this month and it is expected to take two and a half months to complete.
