STAVANGER, Norway -– Wood Group Kenny reports that it has been awarded the front end engineering design (FEED) and related project management support activities for the Jordbaer field project offshore Norway, being developed by BG Norge AS.
The proposed field development, located in the North Tampen region, consists of a stand-alone FPSO with two drill centers in a water depth of approximately 410 m (1,345 ft). Gas will be exported from the FPSO to an established gas export pipeline system.
The work includes delivery of an approved design package for infield and export pipelines, control systems, risers and umbilicals, as well as budget and schedule estimates to support BG Group’s plan for field development and operation.
