STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- PA Resources (PAR) has completed its first 2D seismic campaign in western Greenland’s offshore block 8, 10 days ahead of schedule.

The company is pleased with initial data quality, and will shortly start evaluation.

PAR is also active offshore Republic of Congo as a partner in the Murphy-operated Azurite field development.

Production started in August 2009 from one well, and two further wells have been added so far this year. The second well (P2) entered service in mid-Feb. 2010, but has been producing below its expected level due to technical complications at the completion stage.

P3, the third well, has been in operation since late May, and a fourth producer is due on line this September.

Recently, Murphy also added a second injector well (I2), and two further injectors should be drilled and completed on the field later this year.
