Qalebani takes over at NIOC

Iran’s petroleum minister has appointed Ahmad Qalebani as the new managing director of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).

TEHRAN -- Iran’s petroleum minister has appointed Ahmad Qalebani as the new managing director of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). He replaces Saifollah Jashnsaz.

Qalebani has also been named deputy petroleum minister. Previously he was managing director of SAIPA, the Iranian Automaker Company.
