HOUSTON -- Hess Denmark has awarded KBR consulting subsidiary Granherne a FEED contract for the Greenfield sections of the South Arne Phase III development in the North Sea.

The project’s comprises two new well head platforms -- one is a bridge linked to the existing South Arne facility, the other is 2.5 km (1.5 mi) of the existing platform. The two platforms are linked by subsea pipelines and an umbilical.

“This project will further consolidate our excellent relationship with Hess which has built up over several smaller studies,” says Richard D’Souza, VP of Granherne. “The project has a very tight schedule and we look forward to working with Hess to meet that challenge.”
