    Plexus to supply wellhead technology for Maersk North Sea operations

    Maersk Oil North Sea UK has awarded Plexus Holdings a three-year contract with a further two-year option clause to supply its HP/HT POS-GRIP wellhead technology, casing support, and mudline suspension services for exploration programs in the North Sea.

    LONDON -- Maersk Oil North Sea UK has awarded Plexus Holdings a three-year contract with a further two-year option clause to supply its HP/HT POS-GRIP wellhead technology, casing support, and mudline suspension services for exploration programs in the North Sea.

    Maersk Oil will explore a minimum of two wells in the UK’s central North Sea, using the POS-GRIP, HP/HT 18.75-in. (48-cm) single stack wellhead on a rig equipped with a blow out preventer.
