Subsea 7 wins Caesar/Tonga complex contract

Anadarko Petroleum has awarded Subsea 7 an engineering, construction, and installation contract for development of the Caesar/Tonga complex in the Gulf of Mexico.

HOUSTON -- Anadarko Petroleum has awarded Subsea 7 an engineering, construction, and installation contract for development of the Caesar/Tonga complex in the Gulf of Mexico.

Under the agreement, Subsea 7 will design, fabricate, and install two manifolds and two riser base pipeline end manifolds. The company will also transport and install two flexible risers and fabricate and install 10 jumpers, two main umbilicals, and associated flying leads.

Engineering work has begun. Installation is scheduled for 3Q/4Q 2010 using Subsea 7 pipelay and construction vessels.
