Iran lifts first gas from Salman

Gas has started flowing from the first phase of the Salman field development in the Persian Gulf, according to Petro Iran Company.

TEHRAN -- Gas has started flowing from the first phase of the Salman field development in the Persian Gulf, according to Petro Iran Co.

MD Seyyed Ali Behastian says that the field’s KPP gas production platform has capacity at present to produce 300 MMcf/d. Output from the field will gradually increase to 500 MMcf/d and later to 700 MMcf/d, according to Iran’s Petroenergy Information Network, Shana.
