ABERDEEN, UK -- Tracerco has opened a full service center for North Sea operations in Bergen, Norway. The opening coincides with the start of Offshore Europe 2009 in Aberdeen, UK.

The base expands on Tracerco’s previous services in that it includes full operational facilities to allow storage, maintenance, and mobilization of process diagnostic services throughout the area. Tracerco, part of the Johnson Matthey Group, says the new facility will improve mobilization times for engineers to perform subsea and topsides process diagnosis and flow assurance services.

“Norway is key to our operations,” says Magne Husebo, Tracerco general manager for Scandinavia. “Robust technical solutions are required for challenging production environments, in particular subsea. Our expertise and experience has allowed us to develop equipment, which can be widely applied to various aspects of the industry.”
