    Technip awarded Oselvar field subsea contract

    DONG E&P Norge has awarded Technip a $67-million engineering, procurement, construction, and installation lumpsum contract for the Oselvar field development.

    PARIS -- DONG E&P Norge has awarded Technip a $67-million engineering, procurement, construction, and installation lumpsum contract for the Oselvar field development. The field is on the Norwegian continental shelf in a water depth of 72 m (236 ft).

    The contract covers turnkey delivery of a 27-km (18-mi) pipe-in-pipe flowline and installation of an umbilical, subsea equipment, and tie-ins. It will be executed by the company’s operating center in Oslo, Norway.

    Offshore installation is scheduled for 2010 and 2011.
