Mako DeepWater becomes Seanic Ocean Systems

HOUSTON -- Mako DeepWater is changing its name to Seanic Ocean Systems.
“We wanted to send a message to the market that we’re not just a subsea tooling business any longer,” says Tom Ayars, president of Seanic. “With the introduction of our new deck equipment and handling system product lines, we felt now was a good time to re-brand the company.”
