CISCO, Texas – First gas is expected from Longtom field in the Gippsland basin off Victoria, Australia, in July, according to reports citing Australian-Canadian Oil Royalties Ltd. ACOR says that operator Nexus Energy Ltd. expects to supply up to 12,000 boe/d to Santos Ltd.

Longtom is in VIC/L29 about 12 mi offshore in 183 ft of water. The initial development concept calls for two subsea gas production wells tied back to existing facilities operated by Santos at Patricia Baleen.
