Lamprell completes Seajacks liftboat

Lamprell has delivered a second new liftboat to Seajacks UK at its new Hamriyah Freezone yard in UAE.

DUBAI -- Lamprell has delivered a second new liftboat to Seajacks UK at its new Hamriyah Freezone yard in UAE.

The Gusto MSC-designed Seajacks Leviathan is a self-propelled, self-elevating liftboat capable of operating in harsh environment conditions. It is equipped with a Class 2 DP
system and can accommodate a 90-strong crew.

Lamprell managed detail design and construction in accordance with rigorous northern European offshore construction codes and practices.

The company was also responsible for procurement and outfitting, and delivered the vessel on time and within budget. The duration of the construction program was 18 months, and the contact value $112 million.
