AGR wins Sakhalin RMR services contract

BERGEN, Norway -- Korea National Oil Co. (KNOC) has awarded AGR Drilling Services a $9 million, two-year contract for riserless mud recovery (RMR) services off Sakhalin Island.

The (RMR) system is the only technology in the world capable of returning drilling fluids and cuttings topside without a riser system, therefore avoiding environmental discharge, the company says.
