Operations on Libra-1 well suspended

MELBOURNE, Australia -- Operations on the Libra-1 exploration well in exploration permit AC/P41 in the Browse basin, offshore Western Australia, remains suspended due to the presence of tropical cyclone Billy.

Based on current weather reports, re-manning of the drilling rig is anticipated to begin later this week.

The forward program for the Libra-1 well includes additional wireline logging prior to the well being plugged and abandoned as planned.
