Husky to deploy jackup Deep Driller 5 offshore China

CALGARY, Canada -- Husky Oil has signed a letter of agreement with Aban Offshore for the possible deployment of the jackup rig Deep Driller 5 offshore China for a three firm wells plus three optional wells program.

Subject to the fulfillment of conditions, the estimated revenues from the firm period of the contract (with an estimated duration of approx 180 days) will be $38.70 million. Deployment is expected in 1Q 2009.
