Wison Heavy Industry to use AVEVA solutions

CAMBRIDGE, UK -- Wison Heavy Industry's design center has signed a contract to use AVEVA's engineering IT solutions.

The company, headquartered in Nantong, Jiangsu province, China, boasts two offshore fabrication yards delivering drilling rigs, modules, jackets, integrated decks, drillships, offshore support vessels, and associated structures for fixed and floating platforms. The company also carries out FPSO conversions.

"Our mission is to become a first class fabrication contractor capable of delivering all kinds of offshore projects, while providing high quality service design and construction service to international and domestic clients," says Huang Xin, MD of Wison Heavy Industry Co. "AVEVA solutions will aid us in reaching this goal as it has powerful design, engineering, and production tools that will ensure our products are competitively priced."
